Meet our team

Dr Stephanie Harper - Director

Dr Stephanie Harper has been a professional ecologist since 2008, following earlier volunteer work with Glamorgan and Sheffield Wildlife Trusts. 


She began her professional career at Environ UK Ltd, working on commercial and industrial projects across the West and South Midlands, before joining Arup in 2015 and later being headhunted by AECOM. There, she oversaw thousands of ecology surveys in Birmingham for HS2 Ltd and supported Aston Villa Football Club in securing planning permission for their Bodymoor Heath training ground relocation and new inner‑city academy. 


Steph holds a Natural England Level 1 bat licence and has completed hundreds of bat surveys and assessments.

Ollie is a consultant ecologist with an MSc in Environmental Science from the University of Leeds. He has a strong background in bat surveys, ecological assessments, and thermal drone surveys. He has accumulated over 100 hours of bat contact time, including handling, and is certified for tree climbing and aerial rescue (CS38). Ollie also

Ollie also holds a CAA GVC drone licence, enabling safe and compliant aerial surveys for ecological projects. Ollie ensures compliance with UK planning policy and delivers accurate ecological reports for projects of all sizes.
